With JMU Data Journals, the University Library of Würzburg offers researchers an opportunity to publish digital journals that are dedicated to the publication of research data and its accompanying materials as well as to the re-utilisation of this content.

The platform offers the necessary technical and organisational infrastructure to bring together, review and publish research data as well as accompanying and explanatory materials in the form of a data journal and to keep them available in the long term. It thus complements the institutional research data repository WueData.

JMU Data Journals is hosted by the Würzburg University Library and forms part of the infrastructure in the area of research support services. JMU Data Journals is based on Open Journal Systems (OJS), an Open Source software developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) (PKP) organisation.
